This pendant is an Ammonite fossil that has been finely wrapped in argentium sterling. The fossil was found in Madagascar.
The pendant measures 1 3/4" long.
A little about the wire used: Argentium sterling contains less copper than standard sterling silver. It was developed specifically to combat the tarnish that occurs as a result of oxidization and it is more hypo-allergenic than traditional sterling silver.
