Comment: In the original myth, Sagittarius was the centaur, Cheiron, half human and half horse, whose mother was so upset that she turned herself into a lindon tree. Here we have Cheiron in the form of a young kustakah, a mythological northwest coast creature, with a human head and an otter's body. His Tlingit mother is so appalled she has turned herself into a mountain ash tree.
Sagittarians generally have good judgement and they are optimistic and open-minded. Frank and sincere they are dependable and scrupulous friends and lovers.
